“Tata”

The most influential person in my life is this man in the photo. His name is Albert

Peyron, and he is my grandpa! From the day I was born he has always been there for me. He has taught me many things in life, from playing baseball to becoming a man. The most important thing that I have learned from him is how important family is. In November of 2007 my grandparents along with a lot of my closest family and friends, came over for a big Thanksgiving dinner. In my family holidays are always big events, with lots of foods and drinks, usually lasting all day. During this Thanksgiving my grandpa happened to asked me to do him a favor, he asked me to sneak him a couple shots of whiskey. We had to be sneaky because he didn’t like my grandma knowing he was drinking. So he would pretend like he was just going down the hall into my room and I would meet him there. I took this photo of his happiness after he drank his shot of whiskey.  Its times like this that I will never ever forget, and I am happy that I was able to capture it in an amazing photo like this. I like the photo because in the background it has a crooked picture showing that he was a little tipsy. The lighting is also what makes the picture, the two things I wanted as the focal points really standout. In the future I plan on working to take pictures using lighting like in this photo. To me the lighting of a photo is what makes a picture and this is something I really want to experiment with.
